The questions I get asked most

Let me know you’d like me as your wedding photographer and I’ll put together your booking documents. A 20% deposit and a signed online contract secure your date and lock it in.

No date can be held until the deposit is paid and the contract is signed, so if you’re fairly sure, it’s worth getting that part done early.

There are two collections: the Gallery Collection at €3,200 and the Album Collection at €3,600, which is the one most couples choose. Either can be extended for €600 to carry on through the speeches, evening portraits and first dances.

Prices quoted are valid for six weeks from the date you enquire.

Then tell me what you’re looking for and what your budget is. There may well be a custom combination that fits your day better than either collection as it stands, and I’d love to help you work it out.

Yes, a meeting or video call is included in both collections so we can get to know each other and talk through your day.

Then closer to the date we’ll go through the details, the timeline, the group photos and all the rest of it, so the day itself runs smoothly.

I arrive two hours before your ceremony, for the morning preparations, and stay through the ceremony, portraits, formal groups, the drinks reception and your entrance to the meal, including any speeches before you eat.

With extended coverage I stay on for speeches after the meal, evening portraits and your first dances, up to 10pm or the end of the first dances, whichever comes first.

You don’t need to know what to do. I’ll give you a little direction where it helps and plenty of space to get on with enjoying yourselves the rest of the time.

“I/we/he/she hates the camera!” is something I hear constantly. Have a look through the galleries here and on Instagram, because most of those people felt exactly the same way, and look how hot and happy they are. I’ve got you.

Not long. Portraits tend to happen in short bursts across the day rather than one long session, so you’re back with everyone quickly. Ten minutes at the dinner bell and five in the sunset is plenty to work with.

This is Ireland, so it comes up a lot. Rain changes where we stand, not whether you get beautiful photographs.

Several of the weddings in the galleries here were rained on, including a back-garden wedding in July, and you’d be hard pressed to pick them out.

Yes, for €800. A second photographer can cover a different location during the morning preparations, catch extra angles of the big moments, and gather far more candids and guest photographs.

I’d recommend it for weddings of 150 guests or more.

Around 700 or more with the Gallery Collection, and around 800 or more with the Album Collection. All retouched, high resolution, in an online gallery you can view and download from.

You’ll get a good batch of preview photos as soon as I can manage after the wedding, because I know you’ll want to relive it immediately. Your full gallery follows, along with a slideshow of the best moments set to music, which is a lovely way to meet the photographs for the first time.

Albums, extra prints and the rest can be added when you book, before the balance is due, or after the wedding.

Albums are best value when they’re part of a collection at the booking stage, but they’re still available as separate purchases later on.

The Album Collection includes a 10x10 inch linen album of 20 spreads, 40 pages, designed to your wishes with your names embossed in gold. On its own it’s €650.

There’s also a deluxe 12x12 inch Tuscany leather album at €900, 30 spreads on archival Hahnemühle fine art paper, in a wooden box with an engraved or clear lid.

Smaller 8x8 replica albums for parents are €300 or €325 each depending on the album, and there’s 20% off a pair when they’re added at the booking or balance stage.

I can shoot some rolls of film on your wedding day if you love the analogue look. From €200.

Yes, €600 for a relaxed pre-wedding session, either somewhere meaningful to the two of you or somewhere epic. You get a gallery of 100 or more images, and it’s a good way to get comfortable in front of a camera before the wedding itself.

All over Ireland. If your venue is more than 150km from Dublin there’s a travel fee of €200 to €300, which covers fuel and accommodation where it’s needed.
